Artist bio

There are at least two artists/bands by the name of Bamboo Forest.

1) Bamboo Forest is Stephane Dureisseix, a Psychedelic Trance producer from Paris, France. He started Bamboo Forest in 1995, and in 1998 was joined by Yann Henaff. Yann later left in 2004 to spend more time with his family. The name comes from the famous Bamboo Forest in Anjuna, Goa.

2) Bamboo Forest is a punk band started in January of 2010, in Myrtle Beach, SC, with Jackson May(guitar/vocals) and Will Copeland(bass/backing vocals) writing songs together. By April, they found a drummer, Jeff Whitener, and by May, they were playing local shows with a complete setlist of originals. In October of 2010, they recorded a 5-song EP "A Few Songs." Since then, the band has been playing high-energy shows and writing new songs. In June of 2011, Jeff left the band to go to college. One week later, they recorded their 14-song album, "Indecisive." The band picked up drummer, Timothy Burlinson, and a few months later, Guitarist, Zach Thomas. The last week of December, 2011, they went on a 6-stop tour with punk band, Treephort, of Marietta, GA.
