London based duo Majik create music that weaves heart-felt lyrics over atmospheric sounds and broken beats, placing sentiment at the core of its captivating soundscape. A chance house share in Leeds introduced producer and guitarist Jamie, and singer-songwriter Marcus. After some early recordings, bedroom jams and acoustic sets, they departed Leeds to explore personal interests - with Marcus leaving for Ibiza and Jamie heading South. With a few short months behind them, a phone call across the water sparked new thinking. A relocation to London followed, where the duo reunited and majik was born with maturity in both sides of their sound.
