To characterize the career of this incarnation, one might say it was brief and glorious, The Ambition were recieved in late 2003 to late 2004 with mixed reactions, while few denied they put on a good show, they were (as is the case for most any interesting musical act in anchorage) an anomaly, almost no one at that time was doing garage rock, let alone Mod Revival, The Ambition's first incarnation dissolved shortly after a relocation to Columbus, Ohio, where personal differences and disputes* led to personnel changes, namely their guitarist (Dustin Ryan), leaving, who was replaced by mutual friend, Luke Matter (sic), it is believed that this incarnation dissolved when Luke Matter relocated from Columbus, Ohio, to Portland, Or.
