Velos is a Hard Dance & Drum & Bass DJ from the South Coast.
DJing since the age of 16 he won the second Tidy Trax DJ Competition at Summer Camp. Since then he could be seen playing regularly at Tidy Weekenders before being signed to Bournemouth's super club Slinky as a resident DJ. Not known for playing just the current big tunes, Velos was never afraid to take a step back and play tracks that people might have forgotten. Described by then label manager, Lee Haslam as someone who "wasn't scared to take risks" and could "create an unrivalled amount of energy through his tune selection and mixing style", he was a firm favourite with the harder edged Slinky punters.
Since 2013 Velos has been mainly focused on the Drum & Bass sound playing local events around the South, but still enjoys playing his very distinctive Hard House sound.
