Dancing’s Done

"Dancing's Done" is the fourth single from Ava Max’s second studio album, Diamonds & Dancefloors. The song was released 20 December 2022 along with the reveal of the new album cover for the album. It is a eurodance pop fusion with 80's inspired sounds, produced by Cirkut and Lostboy. The track is the album's closing track and lyrically describes questioning what happens when the dancing is done. The singer uses vocal harmonies mixed with soft synths to provide an aural sound before jumping into a bass filled electronic beat. Upon it's release, it received favorable reviews from critics, prompting it to receive a lot of playlisting across music streaming platforms. The song was sent to Italian radio on January 6, 2023.
