Wanting to create a smoldering, warm R&B feel, Bazzi brings in a “meeting and making new friends in the summer”-type vibe with ”I Like That”. The lyrics were inspired by a trip he took to Malibu and transformed it into “a totally arresting, full-bodied, low-key bop about living in the moment”.
