“three wheels and it still drives!”, produced by frequent collaborator and band member Jeff Hazin, is a two-part song dedicated to glaive’s former partner, Katye. glaive first previewed the song in a snippet on April 12, 2022. A demo of the song would surface online on July 5, 2022 in a mass leak with around twenty songs. The final version with a slightly updated instrumental would surface online on September 16, 2022. The first half of the song is an acoustic performance that acts as the beginning of the split between his former partner and himself. The second half has a much more aggressive instrumental and acts as a later part of a breakup in which regret and sadness begin to set in. The song was first performed live on July 26, 2022 in Toronto. It was performed with Nick Ferraro and Jeff Hazin, as “ivanhillterrace”. Although only the first half was performed, this marks one of the first songs to be performed by the band.
