“Myron” starts off Lil Uzi Vert’s LUV Vs. The World 2, the deluxe edition of his second studio album, Eternal Atake. Originally referred to as “Like Me” by producer Supah Mario before its release, the track was first previewed on Uzi’s Instagram on September 22, 2018. On November 28, Uzi previewed an extended snippet of the song in an Instagram live video. Finally, on March 6, 2020, Uzi confirmed the track’s title to be “Myron,” along with implying its inclusion on the deluxe edition of Eternal Atake. The next day, Uzi teased two new snippets from “Myron,” building up the hype for the track even further. A large portion of the second verse differs from what was heard in previews of the song. This new verse is believed to have been re-recorded and switched out the week Eternal Atake dropped. The version previewed in 2018 was called "Ran Up All My Bands" and recorded on April 14th, 2018.
