Solitaire

"Solitaire" is a song by Welsh singer-songwriter MARINA. (Formerly known as: Marina & the Diamonds) The last song recorded for the album, FROOT Described by Diamandis as one of the most thematically important songs off the album, "Solitaire" is about "sticking up for yourself and staying strong no matter what's going on around you." She later added on Twitter that the song's message is that she likes to be alone and that it can be good for people. In reply to a Tumblr ask Marina said: "Being introverted isn’t a personality flaw. I love being around people - and performing for people- but I really enjoy having time to myself too. I think at the time of writing I couldn’t bear being around anyone as I was very tired."
