Heysátan

Track

Kjartan Sveinsson had this to say about Heysátan, the final track of 2005's Takk...: "With Heysátan my idea of it after we wrote it, was that there was an old man looking over his field, a big view over the sea or something, and he is dying. He is going to die. He is just lying on the grass, and he is going to die, but that is fine because he has had a good life. He is quite happy dying, actually. And that is what the song is to me. It's kind of that emotion." Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
