South Florida-based acoustic singer-songwriter, SJ, blends melodic folk, acoustic rock and light pop, with a chill vibe and a soulful vocal sheen, to create an acoustically soulful groove. SJ's music and style have been compared to artists such as Jack Johnson and Donovan Frankenreiter, as well as to acoustic material from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Ben Howard, Jason Mraz, John Mayer and Dave Matthews. SJ’s music has reached national acclaim with his song "I Like You" gaining airplay on Sirius XM The Coffee House channel, and single "Let Me Be" spinning on mediabase radio in over 50 U.S. markets in 2012. In August 2012, SJ released his first studio LP, "Coffee: Strong Brew Edition," followed by "Coffee: Unfiltered" (Live album/DVD) in September 2012.
