The Grinch

Track

“The Grinch” is a collaboration between Trippie Redd and Pi'erre Bourne from Trippie’s 6th studio album A Love Letter to You 4. Trippie Redd previewed a snippet of the song on November 3, 2019, and described the record as “RAGE MUSIC.” On the track, Trippie switches up his delivery over a bass-heavy instrumental reminiscent of some of Pi'erre’s previous work, on songs like “Hacked My Instagram.” The same beat was used for Kevin Gates' August 2019 song “Double Dutch.” The song is named after Dr. Seuss' The Grinch, a grumpy, solitary creature from the children’s story How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
